The Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is partnering with the Restoration Trust in our third annual event at the Clayton Valley Drain. Our native plants from previous years are thriving, so we are moving the project upstream! This year we will be tackling the other side of Solano Way, which needs some TLC.
Activities will include weeding, trash pick-up, and, of course, planting. This year our goal is to plant 5,000 native grass plugs, and we are looking for 50 volunteers to help. Don’t miss out on the fun! Sign up by December 10.
