Join us in recognizing heroes in our community by submitting a nomination for Contra Costa County's 2016 Humanitarian of the Year. Each year we honor a county resident whose accomplishments have been inspired by or exemplify the work of Dr. King.
In addition to honoring a community leader or activist, we also invite nominations of deserving high school students. Our student and adult humanitarians of the year will be honored at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., celebration event on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Submit your nominations online before Friday, December 18.
