Empty the Shelters event

Bissell Foundation Empty the Shelters Event This Saturday!

This weekend, all animal shelters in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties will participate in the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters.

On Saturday, May 4 2019, all adoption fees for cats, kittens, dogs and puppies with be a flat $25 (including licensing) in hopes of matching all pets with new loving homes.

This effort is a part of a national push by over 100 shelters in 20 states, which will add to the over 19,000 animals already adopted as part of other Empty the Shelters events. By participating in the event as a coalition, the Bay Area will be a premier location for adopters looking to find a pet to join their families.

Adopted!

A little update just in on Buford now named Winston...Winston is doing awesome. He loves his canine siblings. We're working on his behavior with chickens, cats and sheep. He's a good learner. He's friendly with so many neighborhood dogs.He love, love, loves going for car rides. And he spends a good portion of the day following us doing chores or just running with the pack on the Farm. He's gaining weight slowly but steadily. He is very much loved and cherished.
